Our manufacturing warranty on our products is governed by these terms and conditions.

 

General:

  1. Receipt of the board is based on the tracking information of the delivery company that delivered your package. This information can be found on the delivery company's website using your tracking number.

 

  1. In these terms and conditions "the board" refers to the inflatable paddle board.

 

  1. It is possible to substitute a store visit for a warranty service by a delivery. Delivery to the store will be covered by QuebecSUP up to 60 days after receipt of the product. After 60 days, substitutions are the responsibility of the customer. The seller will initially invoice the customer for the delivery service to obtain the product from the customer and return the product to the customer. When paid by the customer, the packing slip is transferred to the customer for sending the goods to the seller for warranty service.

 

  1. Aesthetic defects at the time of reception of goods included:
    scratches, cuts, stains and other similar cosmetic defects. Also includes any cosmetic defects on the product or product components that may be caused by an external force and do not cause damage that prevents the product from functioning properly.
    As sporting goods are highly susceptible to minor cosmetic defects, moderate by their nature of use and for reasons of responsible consumption to reduce our ecological footprint. We do not authorize any exchange of product other than for aesthetic defects that we consider major.
    1. On the board
      1. Any cosmetic defects must be reported to the sellers within 48 hours of receiving the board.
        1. Any slight cosmetic defects on the board are not eligible for warranty
          1. Moderate defects reported within 48 hours:
            1. 30$ compensation
          2. Major defects reported within 48 hours:
            1. Compensation of $60 or;
            2. a replacement at our expense 
          3. If reported within 48 hours or more, no indemnity or compensation is awarded
        2. On accessories
          1. Any aesthetic defects on the accessories must be reported to the sellers within 72 hours of receiving the board.
            1. Any slight cosmetic defects on accessories are not eligible for warranty
            2. Moderate defects reported within 72 hours :
              1. Compensation of 25% of the value of the accessories
            3. Major defects reported within 72 hours :
              1. Compensation of 50% of the value of the accessory
              2. Replacement of the accessory at our expense
            4. If reported within 72 hours or more, no compensation or indemnity is awarded 

     

    1. Missing accessories in the inflatable paddle board set upon receipt of merchandise: Our inflatable paddle boards come with several accessories for its use. These accessories can vary in product type, shape, packaging, etc.
      1. Missing accessories must be reported to the sellers within 72 hours of receiving the board.
      2. If reported within 72 hours, we will return the missing accessory free of charge
      3. If reported within 72 hours or more, the customer will have to purchase the missing accessory and pay for its delivery.

     

    1. Perforation of a product: The manufacturer's warranty covers perforation upon receipt of merchandise only. No other perforations beyond the 72 hours following receipt are eligible for the manufacturer's warranty.
      1. These perforations must be reported to the sellers within 72 hours of receiving the board.
        1. If mentioned within 72 hours two options are available to the customer;
          1. Compensation of $75 or;
          2. Replacement of the accessory at our expense
        2. If reported within 72 hours or more, no indemnity or compensation is granted. The customer is still eligible for a repair service at our offices at a reduced price of $15 per patch.

     7. At any time, no item is eligible for warranty if the customer has made or even attempted to make the repair of the manufacturing defect himself. Our team will inspect the item upon receipt to determine the eligibility of the item for warranty.

     

     

    Eligible for accessories*:

    Please note that accessories are not covered by the same warranty as the inflatable paddleboard. Accessories are eligible for a 6 month manufacturer's warranty under the following terms:

    1. Breakage of accessories
      1. Any breakage of the accessories that cannot be caused by an external force.
        1. If reported in every 3 months following the reception of the accessory. Two options are available to the customer:
          1. 50% compensation if the item is still usable without affecting performance.
          2. The customer comes to the store for a replacement at no charge*.
        2. If reported between the 3rd and 6th months after receiving the accessory. Two options are available to the customer:
          1. 25% compensation if the item is still usable without affecting performance.
          2. The customer comes to the store for a replacement at no charge*.

     

     

     

    Eligible for boards under the 1 year warranty*:

    1. Breakage on the board
      1. Board joint dislodging
        1. Disbonding minor repairable by the customer
          1. In the 1st month after receiving the board. Two options are available to the customer:
            1. A compensation of 40$ and the customer proceeds to the recollection of the detached part himself 
            2. The customer comes to the store for a free repair *
          2. Between the 1st month and 6th month after receiving the board. Two options are available to the customer:
            1. A compensation of 20$ and the customer proceeds to the recollection of the detached part himself
            2. The customer comes to the store for a free repair *
          3. Between the 6th and 12th month following the reception of the board
            1. The customer comes to the store for a free repair *

    1. Major detachment
      1. Within the first 6 months following the reception of the board.
        1. A replacement board at our expense
      2. Between the 6th and 12th month following receipt of the board
        1. No guarantee on major joint delamination

     

    1. Detachment of the anti-skid mat
      1. Minor disbondment repairable by the customer
        1. In the 1st month following the reception of the board. Two options are available to the customer:
          1. A compensation of 40$ and the customer proceeds to the recollection of the detached part himself
          2. The customer comes to the store for a free repair *
        2. Between 1st and 6th month following the reception of the board. Two options are available to the customer:
          1. A compensation of 20$ and the customer proceeds to the recollection of the detached part himself
          2. The customer comes to the store for a free repair *
    • Between the 6th and 12th month following receipt of the board
      1. No guarantee on minor carpet peeling

    1. Major detachment
      1. In the First 6 months following the reception of the board.
        1. A replacement board at our expense
      2. Between the 6th and 12th month following the reception of the board
        1. If the repair is not possible, we will replace the board at our expense.

     

    1. Detachment of the handle
      1. Minor disbondment repairable by the customer
        1. In thehe 1st month following the reception of the board. Two options are available to the customer:
          1. A compensation of 40$ and the customer proceeds to the recollection of the detached part himself
          2. The customer comes to the store for a free repair *
        2. Between 1st month and 6th month following the reception of the board. Two options are available to the customer:
          1. A compensation of 20$ and the customer proceeds to the recollection of the detached part himself
          2. The customer comes to the store for a free repair *
    • Between the 6th and 12th month following the reception of the board
      1. No guarantee on minor joint delamination
    1. Major detachment
      1. In the first 6 months following the reception of the board.
        1. A replacement board at our expense
      2. Between the 6th and 12th month following the reception of the board
        1. The customer comes to the store for a free repair. * If the repair is not possible, a replacement board at our expense

     

    1. Detachment of accessories
      1. In the 1st month following the reception of the board. Two options are available to the customer:
        1. A compensation of 20$ and the customer proceeds to the recollection of the detached part himself
        2. The customer comes to the store for a free repair *
      2. Between 1st month and 12th month following the reception of the board. Two options are available to the customer:
        1. The customer comes to the store for a free repair *
    1. Valve
      1. In the First 6 months following the reception of the board
        1. A replacement board at our expense 
      2. Between the 6th month and the 12th month following receipt of the board
        1. The customer comes to the store for a free repair *

     

    1. Deformation of the board
      1. The customer has 3 months after receipt* to report a deformation of the board.
        1.1 If reported within the first 3 months, a replacement board at our expense is offered.

        * If received between November 15th and April 1st, the 3 months will be calculated from April 1st.

    *1 year warranty: includes all boards that are not exclusive to the company.

    *3 year warranty: includes all The Wild Tribe boards. Exclusive brand and designed by QuebecSUP.

    *For all aesthetic defects, refer to article 4 of the "General" section 

    *All repairs include the risk of slightly affecting the aesthetics of the product. Many products are used and may affect the materials of the board aesthetically and not quality and performance. We do not guarantee and will not compensate for these aesthetic effects during a repair.

    *All claims must be made by the customer of the order with the email address used in the order in question. It is impossible to make a claim for someone else.
